At the beginning of the last century, our grandfather José saw wine-growing the way the craftsman sees his trade or the artist his creations. He made a lasting mark on our memories, as did grandfather Paco, a pioneer in his time who managed to pass on his passion for wine to us masterfully.
When grandmother Teresa handed over to us, encouraging us to continue the family legacy, we realised it was time to put into practice a whole outlook on life, nature and work in tune with the principle of sustainability.
Time and thought tend to give greater meaning to childhood experiences, to every one of the words that remain alive in one’s memory.
We are located in an outstanding valley in the Rías Baixas wine region, a stone’s throw from the Arousa estuary and the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean.
Striving for excellence might be an illusion, but it helps to keep you on the path of being coherent and true to yourself.
In 2003 we started work on our new winery, on the same site as our century-old family home. Since then we have worked ceaselessly to improve our legacy vineyards over 25 years old and identify the best terroirs in the region. Rías Baixas, where we cultivate our future.
What would life be without dreams, without sensible aspirations, without facing every day as if it were the last.
We live in the vineyard, we grow with it, we suffer together. It’s worth it.
